Ask about our off season rates for February and September.

What is included in the basic rental fee?

The basic facility rental fee includes: facility fee, red carpet entry, tables, chairs, colored linens, choice of candlelit centerpiece, set-up/take down service, and professional consultations. Our Saturday rental fee also includes (1) security officer.

Saturday rentals are for a full day
(6 hours actual usage time – 4 hours event time).

Tuesday – Thursday are discounted and charged at an hourly rate.

Friday and Sunday are charged out at an hourly rate with a 6 hour minimum

Additional services are added to the basic rental fee to create your customized package which includes catering options plus any other ancillary services you choose.  TAD AKERS Event Facility also offers a select wine list and beer assortment should you desire to have a champagne toast, wine with dinner or a choice of beer. Ask us about our signature drink selections. All bartenders are blacktie and TABC certified.

For our brides we offer customized, all-inclusive wedding packages which include Professional Consultants, red carpet entry, easel for portrait display, sweetheart table, white garden chairs, linen covered tables, chair sashes, fancy fold cloth napkins, choice of candlelit centerpiece, choice of catering selections, Professional Waitstaff, Bride and Groom’s Cake selections, Professional DJ Services as well as set-up/take down.

 

What hours can the facility be used?

TAD AKERS Event Facility is available for rental daily until Midnight on any day of the week. Our all-inclusive packages are based on a minimum of 4 hours event time. We book only one event per day for weddings, receptions, or large corporate events. We typically are closed on Mondays but occasionally make an exception to this policy.

 

What type of deposit is required?

TAD AKERS Event Facility requires a $1,000 (non-refundable) deposit to secure your date. This will then be applied to your total charges.

We do offer convenient monthly payments with NO INTEREST. Last payment due 30 days before the event.

 

When are the fees associated with use of TAD AKERS Event
Facility due?


Package fees associated with all bookings may be paid in monthly installments or divided per customer request. All fees are due in full 30 days prior to the scheduled event. Additions to previously quoted packages may be added by the customer up to a week in advance with payment expected at the time the request(s) are made.

 

What if I need to cancel a scheduled event?

>
No refund will be given of the Reservation Deposit.
>Facility Usage Fees shall be billed and due upon cancellation of any event.
>Refunds will only be given if the event date is re-booked by another party.
>Full payment of Balance Due, Additional Fees or changes made by client shall be required if the event is cancelled within ninety (90) days of the reserved date of   the event.
>Some Additional Fees due to Vendors may be required if the event is cancelled.

 

Is security offered at TAD AKERS?
Yes, we require security at most scheduled events. Either commissioned or non-commissioned officers will be used based on the type of event you are hosting and whether or not alcoholic products will be served to your guests. Security is
at the discretion of TAD AKERS management.

 

How many guests will TAD AKERS accommodate?

TAD AKERS Event Facility can host up to 250 guests on the interior of our beautiful facility. This number does not include available tenting options, outside seating options or on the covered patio.

 

How early can I book my event?

It's best to call on availability of dates as soon as you can due to private venue popularity in the Bay Area.  We encourage bookings as far out as 12-18 months in order to allow ample time for detailed planning and lower monthly payments.  TAD AKERS offers monthly payments with no interest or service charges but simply as a convenience to our guests.

 

Is there an additional fee to have the wedding ceremony at TAD AKERS Event Facility?

We do not charge extra for the ceremony to be held at TAD AKERS. However, if additional reserved time beyond the 4 hours scheduled for the event are needed in order to accommodate the plans of the bride and groom, those will be charged accordingly.
  Additional charges for a minister or backdrop for the ceremony are charged on an as needed basis and will be discussed fully with the prospective bride and groom.

The charge for a ceremony only is $1,200.00 & includes 2 hours of
facility usage time.

Ceremony fee discounted 50% when coupled with Reception Booking.
